This is a very straightforward and reliable Korean spa. The ladies that did the scrub and massage were very efficient and I was left feeling like a newborn with all the skin they took off of me. The food on the second floor is good too. Overall the experience is good for the price you pay. Will definitely go again.

Loving this place. Very reasonable prices of services. I did not get a chance to take pictures of the food but food was great. The facility is clean and sanitary. The communication of service was spot on. Mr. Go for Body Scrub is very light with his hands. Jessica for massage is amazing. The front desk clerks are very attending. Good customer service. Would come back for more services.

I want to like this place. The body scrubs are always so good. I came here recently and got a body scrub and massage. The massage was not a massage and more luke a beat down. Then the lady proceeded to tell me that I need to lose weight or I'm gonna have a heart attack. And everytime she was too rough I told her and she said I was stressed and it was my heart. The whole experience was horrible. I will go back for a scrub but not with that same person. I also wish they had robes available and bigger towels.

The cooking staff are very unkind. They also make you wait awhile before taking your order. All the chairs and tables at the dining area feel sticky and unsanitary. And the food is uncooked, and tastes horrible. Both waste of money and horrible.
The spa is nice but the bathing area is very small. There is not a lot of room, and it's always very noisy.

There's little to no explaining from the front desk about spa rules and etiquette. This causes a lot of confusion from first time spa goers or people who are not familiar with Korean spas. The last couple of times that I've gone, people have come up to me to ask what they should do and where they should go... and while I don't mind doing that, it isn't the best experience for customers to feel lost and for others to have to explain while taking a bath. Another issue is they don't seem to have a policy regarding cell phones in the locker room. Ive never been to a spa that doesnt enforce this. When we're changing, no one should be on their phones. I saw 2 people on their phones in the locker room. When I told the first desk, they seemed surprised but approached it like it was common sense. But people who don't know just don't know and they should be educated. I really think Descanso should have clear signs that state what the rules are, or the staff should be going over them for first time customers.
