I used to love this spa, now one of the best things about it, their very hot steamy steak room barely has any steam coming out and lately the door is broken! So many customers and friends feel the same. Don’t be cheap and fix the steam room, you charge too much for this to be broken!!

In A Nutshell: -Grand Spa is hidden gem :) -Located in an area w/ plenty of other spas, this was a great find. -It isn't the fanciest or most beautiful, but if you are looking for the bare bones of a great Korean body scrub and massage, then this is your spot. -I've been to several jjimjilbang's in Busan, Seoul, Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas & the San Francisco Bay Area, so I know what I am looking for when it comes to a good experience. -I like going to these types of Korean spa's b/c what they lack in ambience, they make up in spades w/ the service you are paying for. -The spa is divided into the men's and women's sides w/ no co-ed area. -The men's spa has a locker room, small restroom, a couple of rooms to lay down, a medium sized room to sit in a lounger, a spa room w/ hot, warm & cold tubs, showers & a sauna/steam rooms. -The scrub room is tiny, but I was able to get a really authentic body scrub from J. -He scrubbed all that old skin away & then I got a nice massage after the scrub. -The body scrub/massage was $110, which is about $20 cheaper than the competitors in the area. -If you check-in on Yelp for the first time, you can get an extra 10% off, which they honored. Overall, I feel very relaxed, my skin is smooth & feels great. I will definitely come back again!

Disappointing customer service. As a regular Korean spa visitor, I did not feel welcomed at being there. Don’t expect any smiles. They told us that there would be a delay because they were having a plumbing issues and closed down the wet area, showing us out soaking wet. We were resigned to hang out in the resting area for our service which they said would be two hours later. already having waited more than we wanted to they advised that the service will not be taking place due to the issue (this was after we had waited the additional 2 hours). We had to leave with wet hair in the middle of a rainy day and they didn’t even refund us for the massage that we paid for and didn’t receive. Of course on our way out Kai said,” Don’t worry, we are a big company. We would not say that we will refund you and not do that.” This was the same lady who raised an eyebrow when we said that we would like to tip after the service and not automatically put it on the card with the initial transaction.

✨ Grand Spa LA – My Late Night Korean Spa Adventure! ✨ OMG, I just left Grand Spa LA, and I have to say—what a cozy little gem! It’s super small and quaint, but it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing Korean spa experience. Plus, it’s open 24 hours, which is perfect if you’re looking for a little self-care after a long flight (like I was!). I went late at night—which was a first for me at a Korean spa—but let me tell you, it was so peaceful and quiet. Like, if you want a true ✨ zen ✨ moment, nighttime is the move, girl! I got a 90-minute scrub + massage for $140, which is super reasonable compared to other spots in LA. The Vibes: • The sauna was HOT (just how I like it), and they even had a TV outside on the women’s side, which made it extra cozy! • The cold plunge was FREEZING, and the hot tubs were perfection—literally the ideal balance. • The spa itself is very no-frills—just the basics, which I actually love because it keeps things simple and authentic. The Downside? 🥺 • The steam room was out of order (which is a big deal for me—Korean spas NEED a steam room!). • The products (shampoo, face wash, etc.) smelled kinda weird to me? Not a dealbreaker, but definitely bring your own if you’re picky! • I got COLD during my scrub (which has NEVER happened to me at a Korean spa before!). The towels they put on me were cold, and I was just lying there like…why?? 🥶 The Scrub & Massage: My scrub was done by Jenny, who was older and super sweet, but since it was late at night, I could tell she was tired. Totally understandable, but it felt a little rushed. The scrub itself was decent, The massage was very gentle, and relaxing Other Things to Know: • Parking was FREE & easy to find (a rare win in LA!). • The front desk lady was… meh. I didn’t take it personally, but I can see why some reviews mention her being unfriendly. If it’s your first time and you’re clueless, she’s not the most welcoming lol. • Most of the staff doesn’t speak much English, which I actually love because it makes it feel super authentic! Final Thoughts: Would I come back? YES, but mostly for the late-night peace & quiet and the hot tubs/sauna. If you’re expecting an ultra-luxurious experience, this isn’t that kind of spa—it’s very straightforward and affordable. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars because: ✨ The steam room is broken (a big deal for me!) ✨ The scrub/massage was okay but not amazing ✨ The cold towels during the scrub were NOT it That being said, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly 24-hour Korean spa and want to completely unwind, this is a great option! Next time, I might even just spend the night there instead of getting a hotel. 💕💆🏽‍♀️✨

Water wasn't hot and sauna has temperature problems!! Owner doesn't feel any guilty about these issues and never thinking about correcting these issues at all. And payment is what? Transaction fee? It felt like they want more money after regular price.. I hope this place will be closed permanently!!!!! Scrub skill was great but I don't like water temperature at bath and temperature at saunas!
