I've been seeing Kristina Elminoufi for ~3yrs now and our sessions have become a staple to my general well being. Prior to consistent acupuncture, I would say that my energy levels and mood took wide swings and it took significant care to regulate my emotions. Now, I feel like I have a much more stable baseline: the lows aren't quite as low, nor do they last as long. Kristina has helped me regulate my cycles, reduce headaches and generally be at peace in my body– she's a tremendously gifted and empathic healer and so generous to continue practicing at YoSan. In my experience, affects from acupuncture are quite subtle, but can be deeply transformative with the right person.

The Yo San acupuncture clinic is amazing. The acupuncture treatment has really helped me. Jessica is skilled, kind, and takes the time to listen to your health issues.

I've been getting acupuncture on and off for about 13 years now. Of the places in LA, Yo San is consistently one of the best. Their supervising clinicians are excellent. I get noticeably healed nearly every visit.
Their prices are reasonable for the Westside ($40 a visit for a private session by a supervised intern.) They also have a drop-in community clinic on Wednesdays, which is donation-based. Both are excellent routes to take, just different healing experiences, depending on your needs. David, who leads the Wednesday drop-in clinic, is an extraordinary healer and physician. I'd venture to guess nearly all the teaching faculty here are remarkable. They seem to attract good students as well. The interns' bedside manners, skill, and technique are pretty consistently great.
Yo San is located near the Costco on Washington and as such, is in a busy, high-traffic part of town. Parking can be rough and stressful. They have free street-level parking inside and behind the building, and there is one-hour street parking on residential side streets. Parking will take time, so pad in for that if you have an appointment.
This is one of the top training facilities in the States, if not the world, for TCM. As a recent patient, I can say, that's not just on paper, either. :-) Grateful to live within travel distance.

I have been to the Yo San University for my fertility needs. I was greeted kindly upon arrival, the administration processes (paperwork)was simple.
It's been several years since I have been there but I felt strongly that I should recommend it considering that I had been trying for years to get pregnant and I only had a few treatments and I was successful. I then continued on to have four babies who are older children now.
So if you are considering visiting this clinic I would encourage you too the staff, students and doctors or all professionals and very courteous.
I really enjoyed my time there. On a personal note thank you to all the staff you changed my life in a good way.

If I could put 0 stars I would put it. I came to this place for many years before as a client and I was extremely happy but, I had the bad luck to find a very rude, arrogant and pretentious MALE STUDENT today October the 16th 2024 at 5:00 pm, who was Bossing me around, he didn't know what he was doing, or just following instructions of a "so called lady teacher" PLEASE teacher learn to put the needles in the right meridian points for "metarsalgia" foot pain, it is in the middle of the foot where is the metarsalgia pain not on the extremeties of the foot or in the hands, I can show you an article that confirm my request, since it always work for me that way with Real professionals acupunturists.
So in other words They are not interested in healing you or relief your pain" they just want to use you as if you were an animal for testing, sad.
This people need to learn to be kind and humble and "to respect their client's needs First". You can't act like if you were an MD all around lol.
Don't go to the free acupuncture clinic side on Wednesdays!! it's a waste of time, I went for acupuncture session and I left without treatment.
Before it was a chiniese master teacher treating everyone, he was humble and amazing, very talented, now the teachers especially the lady teacher has always such an attitude, very rude and arrogant person, they make you feel extremely uncomfortable. It's better to pay the full price of a session, this place became a Joke, seriously, not worth it even $1.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to study here either...
After many years of coming here, I never going to come back to this place again! They totally waisted my time and my money!
